A Reservation Fee of $50 is required to secure your special date.
Additional travel expenses of $1.50 per mile may be added if beauty destination exceeds 30 miles from Stylist location.
All wedding bookings must meet the service minimum of the bride +3.
If you are unable to meet the service minimum you will be required to cover the balance of the missing services.
*All rates & policies are final & non-negotiable. Negotiating will result in an immediate declination of services.

FAQs
IS ASHLEY BURNS A PROFESSIONALLY LICENSED STYLIST?
Yes, Ashley began her professional career in 2007 and is licensed in the state of Michigan. She currently works behind the chair as a stylist and bridal specialist. (She is also insured.)
WHEN SHOULD I RESERVE MY WEDDING DATE?
Weddings are booked on a first come, first serve basis, the reservation fee and contract are required to reserve the date. Peak wedding season is in the months between April – November and can fully book up 9-12 months in advance.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK MY WEDDING DATE?
The reservation fee and the signed contract is required before your date can be reserved.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE PER PERSON ON THE WEDDING DAY?
The bride may take 1- 1½ hours and all other persons receiving services will be scheduled for a 45 minute appointment but Ashley usually takes anywhere from 20-30 minutes per client with the exception of the bride. If any bridesmaids, mothers or attendants are wearing hair extensions or have long thick hair, an extra 15 minutes or more will need to be applied to their appointment time.
IS A BRIDE TRIAL REQUIRED?
A trial for the bride is not required but is HIGHLY recommended.
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY BRIDAL TRIAL?
Ashley recommends scheduling your trial 1-2 months prior to your wedding date.
DO YOU COME TO ME OR DO I COME TO YOU?
All wedding day services will take place at the brides choosing.
WHY DOES THE BRIDE’S SERVICES COST MORE THAN THE REST OF THE BRIDAL PARTY?
Bridal styles include veil placement if needed and are more detailed. The appointment time is also double the time of the rest of the bridal party.
IF I HAVE SHORTER OR LONGER HAIR, WILL THE PRICING CHANGE?
All rates posted are final and will not increase or decrease based on length of hair.
WHAT IF I WANT EXTENSIONS?
You will have to supply the extensions and the stylist will apply them for an additional $25 per person. *Extensions must be 100% human hair or they will burn and melt once heat touches them and stylist will not responsible for the damage.
DO YOU REQUIRE A SERVICE MINIMUM?
Yes, all weddings booked with ABA must meet a service minimum of the bride +3. If for some reason you can't find Aunt Sally to fill in, the bride is required to cover the balance of any missing services.
SHOULD MY HAIR BE CLEAN OR DIRTY?
ALL persons receiving hair services must have clean and dry hair. If the hair is greasy, the style will look greasy and not flattering. *The oils from dirty hair and the heat from the curling iron may lead to burnt hair, which we don’t want*
HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU BOOK IN 1 DAY?
When a bride books a date, she is reserving the entire date and we will not book more than 1 wedding per day.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CHANGE MY WEDDING DATE BUT HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED THE RESERVATION FEE AND CONTRACT?
Reservation fees are non refundable and non transferable, When you are reserving your wedding date you reserve that whole day which means we may have to turn down 1 or more weddings on that date. If you need to change your wedding date for any reason you will need to submit a new reservation fee and contract for the new wedding date.
HOW FAR DOES ABA TRAVEL?
Ashley travels all over Michigan & loves destination weddings as well!
ARE YOU ABLE TO TRAVEL TO 2 LOCATIONS?
Yes. Additional fees will apply. Details in Contract.
ARE YOU ABLE TO STAY BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION FOR ADDITIONAL TOUCH UPS?
Yes. Additional fees will apply.
WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Payment is due 1 week prior to the wedding date.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Cash, Credit, Apple Pay, Venmo or PayPal are accepted. We do not accept checks.
WILL YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Yes! Destination weddings start at $1000.00 *including flight, hotel accommodation and transportation*

Ashley was awesome to work with! We did my trial and dyed my hair the same day. For my wedding my bridesmaids I let them pick out a hairstyle they liked best for their hair and she was able to accommodate each one! They all turned out great! I met Ashley at a bridal show, and ended up reaching out to her for my wedding. Finding a hairstylist for your big day is not necessarily an easy task, and I certainly did my research before I landed on Ashley, and I'm SO GLAD I ended up choosing her. She made me feel at ease, and reassured me that my "simple" curled look would stay for the wedding day. I have very fine, pin straight hair, that doesn't necessarily hold a curl, and I certainly have no volume at all. I tasked Ashley with not only giving me elegant curls that would last the whole day, but also giving me volume that could also hold up a decent sized hairpiece. The trial went well, but the wedding day went PERFECT. My curls lasted THE WHOLE DAY, my hairpiece didn't slip or fall out and I felt as elegant as ever. But, enough about me, my bridesmaids looks FANTASTIC! All of their hairstyles were beautiful and stayed the whole day as well. By far the best hair experience I've ever had in any of the weddings I've been in. I would highly recommend Ashley!
